  • Community Service Hours

    We only have a certain number of positions available for individuals who need to fulfill mandatory court-ordered service hours or school program hours. Regardless of the number of hours that a volunteer needs to serve for any program, we require a 3 month commitment from all volunteers. We apologize, but we are unable to accommodate any less than a 3 month commitment (minimum 26 hours as a store volunteer - 2 hours per week x 13 weeks).

    Please mark the boxes to indicate which days/times you are available. Windows are often flexible (for instance, shifts such as 10am-12pm and 3-5pm are also available). We do require volunteer s to be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months for all volunteer positions. Petsmart Store Volunteers are asked to be able to commit to volunteering one day a week for at least 2 hours. NOTE: We are unable to change your volunteer day/time every week. If you are not able to commit to a set day/time each week, please wait to apply until your schedule allows for this or consider one of our other volunteer positions.

  • Orientation & Training (O&T)

    All FUPI Volunteers are required to attend O&T at their preferred Petsmart Adoption Center before they can begin volunteering at an assigned location. Below are the training requirements for each position.
  • PETSMART STORE VOLUNTEER (ONE TRAINING SESSION): Adoption Center Walk Through & Familiarization, FUPI Condo Cleaning & Setup Guidelines, FUPI Cat Adoption Procedures, Estimated Training Time: 2+ hours at Adoption Center
  • CAT TRANSPORTER (ONE TRAINING SESSION): Adoption Center Walk Through & Familiarization, FUPI Cat Transport Instructions, Estimated Training Time: 1+ hours at Adoption Center

  • Agreement

    I understand that submitting this application does not automatically register me as a Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) Volunteer. I understand that I must complete Orientation & Training with a FUPI Training and I must adhere to the established volunteer policies and procedures before I may begin volunteering.
