My name is Clara. I am 2 years old. I was trapped at a trailer park over populated with cats. Food and water was very hard to come by. Thank goodness some rescue people took an interest in me and my future. The rescue people said I deserve a home and a family that loves me. Here I am waiting for just that.Clara
Paw-don me, do you like cats? Clara would like to know! She also likes ear scratches, and is paws-itivly loveable. She shows her kitten side again when given cat nip..Pick her up gently, when she let’s you, and she will give a little squeak. The little noises she makes – she’s an absolute doll.
Clara “Mer”
Clara, I’ve been calling her “Mer.” She does not know how to meow – she Meeerrrrrrrs, and Meeeeerrrr-oos. She is a Queen cat, a babysitter, a referee. Around other cats, she is the one who determines how much play happens. She would do good in an only cat home, or with friendly, non reactive cats. She wants to be the center attention, the first to eat. She is tolerant of cat friendly dogs. She’s very kid friendly, following young children around and watching what they do. Being near them when they’re eating but does not steal food. Sits on the couch for pets. She squeaks when you pick her up, like a dog squeaky toy. It is certainly not a meow! Her huge eyes, she usually wears a wide eye expression. When she yawns with her eyes open… it’s very entertaining !! She is a very sweet girl. Curls up in bed at night with us humans to sleep. Usually at the head of the bed by our faces.
