Platypus is a 5.5-year-old, 44 lb. mixed breed female with a lot of charm. (We think she is a Black Mouth Cur.) She came to FUPI after a family illness. She is excited to meet new people, but cautious with some dogs. We don’t know about cats. “Platt” is a pleasure to walk on a leash and enjoys car rides. She will dance with joy for her dinner or when she hears her leash rattle. She is loyal and protective of her people and will use her big bark only occasionally. Her favorite pastime is napping curled up in a small ball in a sunny window. She is house trained.
