Queenie’s story began with love—found as a one-day-old kitten, she was bottle-fed and raised by one of our dedicated volunteers. Adopted out through our rescue as a kitten, she grew up knowing care and affection. But life took an unexpected turn, and ten years later, Queenie was heartbreakingly found dumped at a local shelter, with no explanation and no one coming for her.
Despite the rough hand she’s been dealt, Queenie remains the same affectionate, people-loving girl she’s always been. Her bottle-baby beginnings mean she’s deeply bonded to humans and absolutely adores attention. She’ll happily curl up beside you or nuzzle in for pets—she’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home.
At 10 years old, Queenie is a calm, gentle presence. We’re not sure yet how she feels about other cats, so for now she may do best as the only feline in her kingdom—or with a slow and respectful introduction to a new companion. Her adopt fee is just $70.00.
